What is JDK?

Java Development Kit(JDK) allows you to code and run Java programs. It’s possible that you install multiple JDK versions on the same PC. But Its recommended installing Java on Windows 10 or higher with latest version.

JDK is a java development kit whereas JRE is a java runtime environment that allows the java program to run. If you want to develop Java applications, install the Java Development Kit. The JDK includes the JRE, so you do not have to download both separately.

1- Download JDK installation file from oracle source

  1. On the Java SE Development Kit 8 Downloads page (http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jdk8-downloads-2133151.html), in the table of Java SE Development Kits, accept the Oracle Binary Code License Agreement for Java SE.
